Something is a generative type set containing 3200 letters.
The word generative is often associated with AI, but (non AI) generative systems have been used in various ways for decades. They are a non-linear way of working. I design systems using procedural dependency graphs (PDG) that are capable of reproducing varied results using a combination of algorithms and rules.
This allows me to explore many possible iterations and solutions and often leads to many happy accidents. I find that designing a system like this is a great way to stay open to unanticipated creative directions.
